DarkGen

DarkGen is a program written specifically for processing images off of the Quickcam Grayscale camera. It is recommended for dark frame subtraction and flat fielding of QC images. It also will resize, convert to true grayscale, and prescale the images. It really is not intended for actual image processing, although it can do it. It is intended for frame-based crunching, and it does excel at that.

With the current revision, most of the basic functions should work with 24-bit RGB bitmaps.

There is a stacking engine which allows you to weed out the frames you donīt want, watch a movie of the frames (fun, but of little use), and you can stack the images into a mosaic, using up to 32 reference points in the final image. Itīs use is complicated, and questions are invited.
